Very large double room close to Finsbury Park ☀️

I’m sadly moving out of my lovely house share where I’ve been for the last 3 years to move in with my partner. This has been an amazing flat to live in and I can’t wait to give someone else the opportunity to live here. Further info on the room/flat/housemates below. THE ESSENTIALS
- Very large double room, furnished with two wardrobes and a bed frame. I bought my own mattress (an Emma) which I’m willing to sell to the new tenant at a heavily discounted price or you’re free to bring your own
- Available from 13 Jan earliest - this can be negotiated
- £1000 w/o bills, which generally come to £160 a month
- You’d be taking over my existing tenancy, which runs to the 27th of July 2025. You’re then free to renew this if you would like to stay in the flat - we have a great relationship with our landlord, and our rent has stayed stable for the last few years

THE FLAT

The flat is a large, split-level maisonette across two floors. Your room would be the ground floor room and is the only one on this level, meaning you have extra privacy and your own bathroom (as there is another one upstairs that the other housemates use).

I’ve added pictures of the room both furnished and unfurnished so you can see the size of it and how things would look once a lot of my things are gone and you’re free to do what you like with it.

The flat is big and warm. We’ve furnished most of it ourselves over the last few years and so it feels very homey now. We have a large garden out back complete with BBQ and furniture, which we use to host in the summer time!

It’s a 5-10 minute walk to Finsbury Park station, which is amazingly quick into central and to most other areas. There are several supermarkets around us, including two Tescos, a Lidl, and various other shops near the station.

THE HOUSEMATES

You’d be sharing with Fraser (26) and Rue (28). We’ve all lived in London for a few years now but still like exploring the city and doing fun things. We hang out together frequently through the week in the evenings, having dinner at similar times and watching terrible reality tv and/or films. We also do respect each others’ need for space, with each of us having separate friends and spending time outside of the flat.

We’d ideally be looking for someone similar - someone social who wants to be friends with their housemates, but who also has their own friends/hobbies as well. We do pub quiz semi-regularly that you’d be very welcome to join for, and both Fraser and Rue cook and bake incredible food respectively that they’re always willing to share.
