Description
I am moving out of my cosy bedroom (to move in with my partner) and am looking for someone to take over on the 19th of January.
LOCATION
The location transport connections are amazing! Busses to Angel and Holloway road are 2 min away, Finsbury Park station with trains, Picadilly and Victoria line a 5-7 min walk. You've got everything you need closeby with all sorts of supermarkets and takeaway places only min away. There are lots of lovely cafés, brunch spots, naan bread and independent shops, wine bars and restaurants within walking distance, as well as Finsbury Park and Clissold Park for those summer weekend picnics.
HOUSE/FLATMATES
It's a 3 bed maisonette flat on the second/third floor. We sadly don't have a livingroom, but there's a seating corner with sofa, dinner table and tv in the kitchen.
You'll be sharing with two lovely women (40 and 44) who are working in healthcare and education. We have our own lives, but still enjoy chatting in the kitchen and there's always an option to go for dinner etc. You'll be sharing the bathroom with one of them, the other one lives one floor above you. Female sharers will be preferred.
This is not a party house, we all like a relaxed atmosphere at home and prefer it to be quiet after 10pm. It would therefore be ideal if you have a job with the usual hours.
ROOM
Your room is overlooking the backyards, making it green and bright during the day and quiet at night. It comes with a bed and wardrobe, but has space for more chest of drawers and/or desk.
You'll have your own little staircase (3 steps) and a small landing in front of your door, which is perfect for extra storage or a laundry rack.
Working from home is not a problem in your room, it has space for you to bring a desk and sunshine until midday.
LANDLORD
Our (private) landlord requires a work reference, ID and 3 months bank statements. No students - sorry!
BILLS/CONTRACT
Our current contract runs until September 7th 2025, after which it will be renewed. You will pay one month deposit (770 GBP) in advance and your share of the first month rent (Jan19th-Feb6th) by 6th of January. Rent is 770 and due on the 7th of each month. We each have a bill in our name, so you would take over the Thames Water Account. All in all bills are around 116 GBP per person.
