Rent is current split: £1,224/mo for the large double and £1050/mo for the small double. The new flatmate can choose either room, open to discussing room pricing as needed.

On the top floor (3rd) in a quiet residential neighborhood.

The new flatmate will join a new tenancy agreement and undergo standard reference checks by our friendly and accommodating landlord. Your deposit will be added to deposit protection scheme. So we would be starting fresh on equal terms as flatmates. Super responsive landlord.

My current flatmate of 3 years is moving in with his partner. I am looking for a new flatmate to join a new lease starting August 17th, but flexible and happy to make a different date work for the right fit. Latest move should 1st September.

The flat comes furnished with essential items. The double room has a wardrobe and built-in closet as well as a bed frame stored away, if needed. So you will be able to make the home your own by adding your touch. The small double room is quite sizable and currently fits a full double bed, a closet and wardrobe and still has plenty of space to move around.

A bit more about me: I lived in the US for 9 years before London (3yrs and counting), and France, China and South Africa in between. Economics degree from Harvard University and a MsC in Business Economics. Definitely keen to ponder economics and finance questions with my flatmate or just watch a game of football (ideally Arsenal winning :) ) and hang out, especially on the weekend. I recently started painting as a hobby and am into plants.

As a flatmate, I am pretty chill, clean and respectful and appreciate social time whenever I can. I work in international development and travel for work and holidays a few times a year. Go to the office 3x a week and usually free after work. Also like to keep a tidy space without being intense about it. If you are hoping for a relaxed home atmosphere, friendly, easy going vibes, this is it. Intentionally looking not just a flatmate but a a cool person that we can form friendly home and learn and from each other.
