Description
Hey, thanks for reading!
This fantastic flat is located in a prime spot in Finsbury Park (Islington), just a two-minute walk from the tube station, offering unparalleled convenience. I'm looking for a flatmate for a short-term stay to take up the main room and share this great property.
The Basics & Price
The Room: A large double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom just for you. It is bright, spacious, and fully furnished.
The Price: £1050 per month plus bills (around £100-£150 per person).
Availability: Immediately until the end of January. We are specifically looking for a flatmate who needs accommodation from late November/early December through to the end of January.
The Property & Location
The property is a two-minute walk to the Finsbury Park station, which means great access and connections to most of the city. The Victoria and Piccadilly lines and multiple train services run from there, allowing you to commute or travel with ease and speed. There are also very convenient, even direct, connections to all airports.
The building is just off Seven Sisters Road, on a very small but vibrant side street. Our flat is one of the three flats in the premises, on the second floor (no noise from above or sides!).
You can find plenty of amenities, shops, and restaurants within 2-5 minutes of our door. The house is also a minute away from Finsbury Park itself, which offers sports facilities and hosts events. Two other great parks, Clissold Park and Highbury Fields, are within a short walk (10-15 minutes).
The Room & Flat Details
The Room It’s a large double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. The room is very bright and comes with a double bed, a wardrobe, and other basic furniture. I use a different one (the main house bathroom).
To Share The house is a 3-bed / 2-bath but we've lived as a two-person household for the last 8 years. We use the small/third room as an extra space for working, storage (if you have lots of belongings), or to host a guest.
The flat is warm, cozy, and welcoming. It is not a new property but feels like a well-loved home. We have:
A large kitchen-living room space.
A full library, a sound-system & projector setup.
A large second-floor terrace looking at the back (not the main street), ideal for spring and summer hang-outs.
Fast Wi-Fi and a state-of-the-art sound & media system.
A great domestic coffee machine (we do value coffee!).
Current Occupants (Me & The Cat)
Me It's just me and the cat currently. I'm a creative director, architect, and visual artist. I've always lived with friends (female/male), so I'm used to living and sharing a space with others. I usually work from home, except for meeting days or days at my client’s premises. I’m quiet and discreet, and I spend a fair bit of time drawing, designing, reading, and cooking. In general, I'm fairly easygoing to live and deal with.
The Cat The cat of the house is a lush and kind Maine Coon. Note: If you are allergic, this is not ideal for you. She is very independent and quiet. You won’t need to feed or water her (she eats whenever she likes from a large feeder, and I take care of everything else). She won't bother you much, she won't ever touch your food, and she is not used to entering your room—she is a delight to have around!
What I’m Looking For
I'm looking for a nice flatmate to share the house with for this short period. You’ve seen what the offering is; let me know if you think you will be a good fit here.
Thanks for reading! Alexandros
