Available from 21st February 2026 (the date can be negotiated). We are seeking a professional (21+) for a bright decent-sized double room in a well-maintained Edwardian home. This is not just a room for rent, it is a home to share.

We are a quiet, respecting privacy, LGBTQ+ friendly and sustainability-conscious household. While we occasionally share a meal, there is no expectation for forced socializing—this is a sanctuary for those who appreciate a peaceful, self-contained lifestyle and a clean, orderly home.

In our household, communal matters are decided through discussions. Transparency, and respecting differences are the values shared by everyone including the live-in landlord.

You will share the household with other two people. One is a 30+ Scientist by profession and musician after work, playing guitar, keyboard, Banjo, violin, also enjoying running. The other is a Professor of Social & Gender Studies from Taiwan, the live-in landlord, enjoying walking, nature, art, museum, music (singing in a choir), all kinds of exercise, running, swimming, gym, Tai-chi.

The Space & Location
The Room: Freshly painted, rear-facing with garden views and afternoon sun. Furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, curtain, bedside table, small 3-tiers shelves and optional study desk.

Shared Spaces: Fully equipped kitchen, bathroom + extra toilet, microwave oven, washing machine, and a private rear garden.

Location: 1-minute walk to Finsbury Park(like the front garden). 10-12 mins walk to Manor House (Piccadilly) and Finsbury Park Station (Victoria/Piccadilly/Overground). Reach Central London in 10 minutes. Shopping conveniently.

Terms
Rent: £880/month.
Bills: Est. £110–£130 (Inc. Council Tax & super-speedy Broadband, energy & water bills).
Deposit: One month's rent.
