Description
Update as of the 1st of September at 09:30 AM, the bedroom is available and I’m taking viewings!
This lovely double bedroom is advertised for £1050, including all bills, excluding a £10 monthly kitty.
It is bigger than it looks in the photos, and features super high ceilings, and tall double doors that lead to a stunning private patio that looks onto our garden. It is bright and airy and gets a ton of natural light. It has dark wooden flooring, and is located on the ground floor of our victorian house. The bedroom comes with basic furnishings including a wooden double bed frame with drawers for extra storage, a mattress, a solid oak chest of drawers and a mirror. All other contents are excluded (I used to occupy this room before moving upstairs to my current room).
Our location is fantastic:
5 minutes’ walk to Crouch Hill Station (Overground, Suffragette line)
10 minutes to Finsbury Park Station (Victoria Line & National Rail)
Surrounded by great cafés, eateries, green spaces, and running trails
The house offers:
A spacious kitchen/communal area with a cosy sofa
A laundry/drying room that you can hang and dry your laundry in (a rare London perk!)
One bathroom
A large, beautifully maintained garden
About us:
We’re a friendly, peaceful, and tidy household of 2 females and 2 males (4 bedrooms total) of which 1 girl is moving out (which leaves me and my 2 male housemates). I am the tenant of the property. I’ve no gender preference as I like living with both females and males.
The most important points for me are that you are exceptionally clean, considerate and respectful of existing household dynamics, and that you communicate well. I am very precious about keeping the home clean and tidy - the standard is very high and would suit somebody similar. We respect privacy and personal space, but enjoy catching up too. The house has a sanctuary, homely vibe, and doesn’t feel like a house share at all. We leave our bedroom doors open before leaving the house to indicate we are out, keep no locks on doors and are easygoing and very trusting of one another. We are looking for term housemates that are kind, easy-going and clean, with an out-of-home working pattern or hybrid setup with a maximum of 3 days from home. Not ideal for students.
We have a cleaning rota in place, and each of us is assigned a week when we are in charge of cleaning and replacing bins. This has worked very well.
If this sounds like a good fit, I’d love to hear from you! :-)
