Bright, cosy, third floor flat

Small double room available, from potentially the 20th but more likely the end of September. Photo of the room incoming once he´s tidied it haha :) Cats welcome to replace the current one!

Great location, a pretty street right off blackstock road for picking up groceries but also pubs, cafes and restuarants on your doorstep. 2 big parks around 5 mins walk. Takes 5 mins to speed walk to the tube station and from there around 20 minutes to Euston for example.

The flat is one of 3 in the building, neighbours are friendly. The flat itself is third floor and has two sets of stairs which makes it feel like a proper house, the bedroom is on the first landing with the kitchen, living room and next door to the shared bathroom.

I love this flat and will miss it, it feels special because you get a nice wide view out the windows in the open-plan living area (high up so you can see the shard and the emirates in the distance, and it´s nice to see people going about their days on the street and hearing the hustle and bustle of Blackstock road)

You also have another view on the other side of the flat so you get the evening light coming through that side. Overall it makes the flat feel bright and airy. There are also lots of birds in the big tree outside the window so you often hear them chirping and flying about haha.

The kitchen is small but cosy and attached to the living dining area which makes a sociable atmosphere. Not super modern and you can see the age here and there. There is a clothes washer but no washing machine. We dry clothes on the stair landing.

The bedroom has high ceilings and a nice big window which has another good view across the neighbourhood gardens and gets the evening sun. There is no bed included but some chest of drawers and some other bits of furniture (tbc). Worth mentioning you are right next to the toilet so you may hear the fan turning on, might bother some people but not others.

The flat can be a little rough around the edges (creaky stairs and some broken bannisters etc) but lots of character and nice layout. If you´re super bothered about cleanliness and tidiness then maybe not best for you, but everyone is respectful of the space and each other.

The flat has been very sociable, we often watch telly and eat together. Luned and Callum like to play video games in winter. We tend to have our own social lives but will often hang out in the flat together or a pub trip. Currently we also share most house things, e. g we don´t really have our own separate shelves at the moment and we share milk, butter, oil, spices etc but also often borrow each others eggs, bread, juice etc, so it´s very chill and more homely than other flat shares! We unofficially take it in turns to buy the shared things like laundry and kitchen roll etc.

Bills are relatively cheap actually - just over £ 100. Landlord is very hands off and chill, don´t really bother him much but he is quite good at helping if something is his responsibility.

The current house is Luned (27) works in musuems and is a great cook! She often bakes for us which is a real bonus. Then there´s Callum who (29) who is in a band and a technician at Ally Pally. His piano/keyboard is in the living room to play if you are interested!

We have had a couple cats here the past 2 years but the current one will be leaving us quite soon. So if you have a cat this is a bonus as it has been a nice addition to the household for us all! Litter tray goes in my room as the flat is small so not really a good place for it. Bikes can be stored in the hall on the ground floor or in our flat at the bottom of the stairs.

Hoping to find someone who is sociable and laid back and fits in with the house dynamic. Anyone with nice bits and bobs to replace mine when I leave would also be a plus... Will try to arrange viewings for the 20th September, but possibly even the 10th or 11th...
