Description
We’re looking for a new housemate for our spacious 3-bedroom flat located on a quiet residential street only 8 mins walk from Finsbury Park.
The bedroom is a comfy, high-ceilinged double room with a large window that faces the communal garden. It comes furnished with a bed, desk and cabinet which gives ample space for clothes and other bits. The room comes with a mattress and is big enough to fit a desk for working from home. The room is on the first floor, next to the living room.
The flat is spread over two floors of a period townhouse and consists of a living room, kitchen, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One of the bathrooms is en-suite to the top bedroom, so the main bathroom is only shared by two people. The house is full of natural light during the day.
You would be living with Sam, a queer 32 y/o theatre maker, and Martha, a 27 y/o, a queer creative working in film.
We love to go to the theatre, read about history, sometimes watch match of the day & first dates. We hang out in the living room often and get on very well, often doing stuff out the house together. We sometimes have parties on birthdays and are very open to having people over, cooking dinner together, being quite a social house.
Martha has a cat who stays indoors and has a litter tray in the hall. Dilly is very affectionate but unfortunately it does mean we can’t accept anyone with more pets!
The flat is situated 5 mins walk from Stroud Green Road, filled with cafes and restaurants, and an 8 minute walk to Finsbury Park tube and train. There’s a lovely pub on the end of our street and you can easily reach Lidl, Sainsburys or Tescos in under 10 minutes.
We’re looking for a housemate who is tidy and considerate, but also friendly, social and interested in occasionally hanging out / chatting about more than just the bins. Someone whose politics are kind, who believes that climate change is real and so is structural racism. We believe in a free Palestine and we need you to as well. We purchase certain items like toilet roll and cleaning products communally and clean the flat ourselves.
We're looking for someone to sign onto a contract with the estate agent, so depending on your salary you might need a guarantor!
