The room is spacious and located in a lovely two-storey house.
The house is in central London, nestled in the vibrant areas of Fitzrovia and Bloomsbury. It’s within walking distance of King’s Cross and Soho.
Its central location makes it an ideal spot to explore London or to work while staying in the city.
There are several parks nearby, including the beautiful Regent’s Park. Access to the Underground and buses is easy, and you’ll find plenty of supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, and pubs in the area.
The Accommodation
This bright and spacious room is part of a house with a small garden. The room has a minimalist design, featuring a simple desk and a couple of chairs. The desk can convert into a standing desk with a modular table.
You’re welcome to use the kitchen and the washing machine (just pick up some detergent from the nearby supermarket).
The house is located on a cul-de-sac, making it very quiet.
With ultra-fast WiFi and a large desk, the room is perfect for working during your stay.
There are plenty of power outlets, making it easy to charge your laptop and phone.
Access for Guests
Feel free to reach out to discuss your preferred dates and length of stay.
You’ll have access to the double bedroom, the bathroom, the kitchen/dining room (which has a large table for dining or working), and the garden.
The house’s cul-de-sac location keeps it very quiet, and the room overlooks the cul-de-sac, making it the brightest room in the house.
This is a shared house, so you’ll be sharing the bathroom and kitchen/dining room with my kind and friendly housemates. :) They’re very nice and discreet.
During Your Stay
While the house is shared, you’ll have your own private, lockable bedroom.
During your stay, you might meet my three housemates—they’re fantastic!
That said, they don’t spend much time at home. Life in London is busy, with so much to do outside. If you do cross paths, feel free to say hello and chat about life, travel, or sports. :)
Please keep the bathroom clean. You’re welcome to use the kitchen to store snacks and prepare light meals. However, as it’s a shared space, I kindly ask you not to cook meals.
Other Notes
I’ll leave my belongings in the room’s storage space. I’m quite minimalist, so there’s not much, but keep in mind you won’t have access to the wardrobe. This shouldn’t be an issue, as the room is very spacious.
You’ll be in the heart of the city, within walking distance of King’s Cross, Covent Garden, Holborn, Tottenham Court Road, Soho, the West End, and Mayfair.
The house is also close to many of the UK’s top universities, including UCL, LSE, SOAS, Birkbeck, London Business School, King’s College, and the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
The house has recently undergone some partial renovations. However, do bear in mind it’s a typical older British home in London.
Please note that the bedding (sheets and pillows) has been slightly updated since the photos. I’ve upgraded the sheets and removed one blanket and one pillow.
