Due to some personal circumstances, our flatmate has moved out, so we now have a spare room to fill, ideally before the 9th of October
The house
A ground floor 2 storey property. The ground floor has a huge open plan kitchen and living room with big glass doors opening into a back patio (that we cannot wait to use for BBQs in the summer) and a small guest toilet. All 3 bedrooms and a shared bathroom are on the first floor.
The room
You will have the master bedroom. Furnished with large wardrobe, double bed and mattress. The room is in good condition. However there is some minor damage to the ceiling between the window and blinds which the landlord is looking into
Money
The rent is £800 pcm. The security deposit - £875 (5 weeks deposit split equally)
Bills (your part):
- water - £16 (fixed)
- wifi BT fibre broadband - £19 (fixed)
- council tax - £57 (fixed)
- gas/electricity - smart meter top up, depends on usage, for e. g. last month was £25 pp
The room is available now.
Transport
The house is a 3 minute walk from Forest Gate (Elizabeth line) and 2 minute walk from Wanstead Park (Overground) stations. A quick 14 minute commute to Liverpool street, 20 minutes to Oxford Circus.
About us
Current flatmates are myself (Nasser) 23yo Jamaican/Egyptian and (Vaidi) 24yo Lithuanian. We are both full time workers. We're both very down to earth, tidy and respectful of each other space. We enjoy sharing dinner and drinks when schedules align and own a large TV for regular movie nights as well!
About you
We're looking for someone tidy, house proud and social. The house is still slightly bare bones, as we have quite busy work lives, but we would like someone who would look to make this place truly like home. We want to have a space where we would be happy to bring friends over and would love for you to feel the same way.
