Description
Lovely large ground floor room in a 3 bedroom Victorian house in Forest Gate. We are within 10 minutes walk of the Elizabeth Line and 5 minutes from the Overground. You can be in Stratford in 20 minutes or the centre of town in 30-40.
Bills are a total of £130 each per month and rent comes out on the 16th each month. Council tax band D.
Current housemates are mid-30s, one female and one non-binary AFAB person. This is a quiet, peaceful household perfect for someone wanting to relax after work. We sometimes play board games together in the living room and other nights spend time in our own rooms. We would strongly prefer to live with another queer person or at the very least an ally. Our hobbies and interests include fitness, board games, crafting, Disney, plants and travelling. We are vegetarian/pescatarian and would prefer you to be too.
We have lots of space, with a living room, a spare room used for storage and drying clothes (it has no bed) and a garden. The rent is cheap and won’t be rising this year as the landlord had planned to sell the property in the spring - this is now not going ahead and he has told us he will give at least 4 months notice if he does decide to sell. Problems in the house are always sorted promptly.
If interested, please get in touch with a bit about yourself. I work from home so viewings can be organised during the week as well at weekends. Looking for someone to move in by the start of February.
