I’m looking for a professional sharer to join me in this lovely rented house on a popular residential street in Forest Hill.
This Victorian terraced property has a living room and fully equipped kitchen (washing machine/tumble dryer/oven/fridge/freezer) downstairs, and upstairs there is a bathroom with a bath and shower, and two bedrooms.
The available bedroom is a spacious double room (~11ft8x9ft6). It is unfurnished, although the current tenant can lend a bed and wardrobe/drawers. The house is largely furnished by the current tenant, with modern white goods supplied by the landlord.
Outside there is a large private garden with an outhouse, a shed, and also secure purpose-built cycle storage – perfect for any cyclist.
Current tenant is a 31 year old professional male with a pet cat. I am looking for a friendly, responsible, considerate, (cat friendly), genuine and professional housemate to share a minimum 6 month tenancy, starting on 11th January 2019 (the exact date may be negotiable with the landlord). The house is ideal as an after work haven for a professional who needs easy access to the city, and there is free on-street parking available.
Employment/referencing details will be required by the landlord to grant tenancy, and a deposit equivalent to one month’s rent. All dealings are directly with the landlord, no agent involved!
The house is on a friendly residential street, ~8min walk to Forest Hill station. (Overground and National Rail, ~15m train journey to Canada Water or to London Bridge). There is also bus access towards Victoria (185) TCR (176) Brixton (P4).
Forest Hill is a vibrant place with many restaurants/pubs/gym/leisure centre/horniman museum etc. Other areas such as East Dulwich/Peckham/Honor Oak/Crystal Palace/Sydenham are all within easy reach.
