Furnished Double Room in Forest Hill Houseshare

Hello all,

I'm looking for someone to join me and my housemates, Damian & Heidi, in our 4-bed houseshare in Forest Hill.

We're friendly, clean, tidy, considerate of each other and keep a nice, stress-free home. Damian is a food safety manager, Heidi is a paramedic and I work in a pub. We're looking for a housemate who we'll be able to socialise with from time to time, be it a chat in the kitchen, playing a game or watching a movie together.

*** About The House ***

The property is in a quiet, family-orientated cul-de-sac just a short walk from Forest Hill station and is ideal for anyone looking for a friendly, relaxed environment to come home to after a long day at work - it is not a party house.

The room is south-facing on the second floor, benefits from lots of natural light and is furnished with a double bed, desk, chest of drawers, bedside drawer unit and built-in wardrobe, plus space for a bookcase/tv unit/anything you may wish to add. We've recently had new windows and radiators fitted throughout the house, plus new flooring in the available bedroom.

We have 2 bathrooms so you'll only have to share with one other person, a small spare room for the occasional guest (when allowed) and a good sized north-facing garden which I do my best to maintain and make look nice (work in progress at the mo though).

The living room has a huge comfy corner sofa, 43" TV with Sky & Netflix and a dining table, and we have a spacious kitchen with all the usual appliances and plenty of cupboard space. It's also a pet-free house so suitable for allergy sufferers like myself.

We are a 5-10min walk from Forest Hill station with Overground and Southern services to London Bridge, Canada Water, Clapham Junction, Victoria, Croydon & East London all within 15-40mins, as well as buses to Peckham, Lewisham & Central London, including night buses 176 & N63.

When not in lockdown, the area is brimming with pubs, coffee shops and restaurants; Sainsbury's and Tesco Metro stores; 2 gyms, a swimming pool and a public library, with the Horniman Museum, Sydenham Hill Woods, Dulwich Park and lots of other green spaces just a short walk away.

For anyone with a car, there is a limited amount of parking within the neighbourhood or plenty of unrestricted on-street parking just outside the neighbourhood. We also have a garage for bike storage.
