Cozy double room in SE23 Forest Hill / Honor Oak

My flatmate is sadly moving out our flat towards the end of August so we have a double room available w/c 25th August until 27th April 2026 with the possibility of extending the contract if things go well! We can do viewings in the next 2 weeks and commence referencing the following weeks to get everything sorted in good time.

Important stuff

* £800 for the room, bills come to around £180
* Deposit is £990.38 which will be paid to our current tenant. It wouldn’t let us put the full deposit on the ad but the deposit is £990.38
* We're a 10 minute walk away from both Forest Hill and Honor Oak Park stations
* Horniman museum and gardens is only a stone throw away so you can easily get your daily dose of green 🌳🌿
* Your bathroom would be shared with only one other person as my bedroom is en-suite

About us
We're a very friendly bunch... myself, Edwina (she/her), Emil (he/him) and my flatmate Mimi (they/them) who is sadly moving out. We started out as flatmates but are now really good friends so we'd like someone who'd want to fit the dynamic ✨

We're all very sociable and like hanging out but also good with personal space.

We both work in tech, myself as a Software Engineer and Emil as a UX Writer.

What we're looking for
We'd like someone who values spending quality time with us, is clean and respectful of the space.

We embrace diversity and would prefer someone who is around the same age as us (25 - 28) to not skew the house dynamics.

We've got a cute balcony which is great in the summer 🌞🌱 the bedrooms get a lot of natural light coming in. We've also got a bike shed! Emil loves cycling if that’s your thing 🚴🏿‍♂️ I’m also dj if you’re into that!
