Description

A bright, comfortable room is available in a split-level maisonette in Forest Hill. The bedroom is on its own floor at the back of the house, with a private bathroom and shower, giving you a quiet, self-contained space.

The room overlooks the garden and the street. It has a new bed and mattress, and an integrated clothes rail, but the space is very much a blank canvas for you to set up and design how you like. There’s also a desk, which can be removed if not needed.

The flat has a large living room that opens into the kitchen, and the whole home has a calm, relaxed atmosphere. The space is kept tidy, respectful, and used to unwind.

There’s a garden where we grow tomatoes in the summer, and we get a lot of parakeets visiting. It’s a really nice spot to relax when the weather’s warm. There’s also a small utility area with a washing machine and dryer by the entrance.
It’s a quiet area with easy walking and cycling routes, on-street parking, and just a 5–8 minute walk to Forest Hill station. The house has fast fibre broadband, with a strong extender in the room.



About Us

We’re Theo (35) and Ellys (35) — a photographer and a stylist. We both work freelance and often work from home, so we’re looking for someone who fits naturally into a peaceful and respectful environment. Evenings at home are usually relaxed: cooking, watching something, or winding down. Our bedrooms are upstairs, giving everyone plenty of privacy.



Who We’re Looking For

Someone in full-time work or full-time study.

Because we work from home a lot , the room isn’t suitable for someone who will also be home all day most days.

Move-in date is 1 February, but we can be a little flexible if needed.



Rent & Details

Rent: £950 per month
Bills: Electric and gas shared.
Cleaner every two weeks: included in the rent
Deposit: One month’s rent
Contract: Lodger arrangement
Move-in: 1 February 2025 (with some flexibility)
