Dog Lover's Dream

Hi Everyone!

I have a good sized double room available in my ground-floor flat in Forest Hill, 8 minutes’ walk from the station. I’m looking for a professional to share the flat with me and my 3-year-old dog Murphy. He is a very friendly boy who loves meeting new people and sleeping on the sofa. It’s essential that you like dogs to share this flat.

I work in IT, am regularly in the gym on a weeknight and like playing guitar (with headphones), bit of Playstation, seeing my friends for the pub, golf, poker, taking the dog to the beach etc. Looking for someone similarly low-key, who’ll split a beer in the evening but not be hosting the afters at the weekend.

The flat originally came unfurnished, so all of the stuff in the shared spaces is mine, but you would certainly be welcome to use anything you like! The shared spaces are quite big, along with a large bathroom with your own sink and storage.

This does mean that you would need to provide a bed. The room comes with a large wardrobe (which can be chucked if you don’t want it) and a built-in cupboard.

We have 1 upstairs neighbour who is very quiet, and no-one on either side of us. The garden is private for us.

I WFH 2-3 days a week, and Murphy goes to work with me occasionally. He is shared between me and my ex-partner who lives close by so wouldn’t be around all the time. I am happy to have someone else who also works from home as well.

The ad listing doesn’t include bills but I can provide a breakdown of those monthly costs if you’d like an idea of total cost before agreeing to anything.
