Forest Hill House

Hello room searchers!

Before i move forward with talking about the house, just want to make clear the payment thing which kind of sucks and is not accessible to many- sorry about that. We have to pay 6 months rent in advance on May 17th - so that is 700 x 6 = 4,200. Plus, there is a security deposit of 530, so unfortunately the house requires 4,730 up front and then every month there is about 100 in bills. After six months, you pay another six month chunk.

We got a bit stuck in that since we are all internationals, and have no uk based guarantor and not enough income to prove. It's illegal now if your forced into it - but our landlord depends on it and we all have lump sum money flows where it works for us. If this works for you, read on!

We have a lovely house in Forest Hill with a room becoming available! We are looking for a fourth housemate, there are already three of us in the house (two male and one female - Canadian/Australian/Catalonian), we are all artists/writers in their mid-late thirties and many of us work from home. The house is really big and very nice - the room is super bright. We are a 10 minute walk from Forest Hill Station which has links to overground service and trains to London Bridge. We are also close to many parks - Mayow Park is nine minutes away, close too is Horniman Garden and the ancient woodland of Sydenham. We are tidy in the house and adhere to a weekly cleaning rota, so this is important in a potential housemate, we are looking for someone age 30+, we are also a LGBTQIA+ friendly household.
