Five mins walk to Forest Hill Rail station(London Bridge/Victoria/Croydon) London Overground station with Jubilee line connection at Canada Water.

On Number 176, 185 and 197 bus routes and 20 mins bus (number P4) to Brixton Tube.

I am a friendly retired professional with a history of work in social care. I am now enjoying having time for myself. I am busy and active. I like to be out and about, seeing friends, walking or going to a gallery. I also enjoy reading, watching TV and practising new recipes in the kitchen. I am used to sharing our comfortable home; recent tenants have stayed 5 and 3 years respectively. Until recently my adult daughter was also at home, she has moved to live with friends but often pops round ! The room has space for study or you may prefer to share the house facilities. The place would suit someone who wants to live independently ; it’s not a party house or community but you would feel part of a family home and a friendly local area.
I should mention that we have a cat and also a tortoise, recently out of hibernation and enjoying the sun. I do travel frequently so it would be great if you feel comfortable around animals and able to feed them for me when I am away.
