Forest Hill is a leafy vibrant area with great restaurants, pubs and cafes plus the Horniman museum and garden is just down the road.
Five mins walk to Forest Hill Rail station(London Bridge/Victoria/Croydon) London Overground station with Jubilee line connection at Canada Water.

On Number 176, 185 and 197 bus routes and 20 mins bus (number P4) to Brixton Tube.

I am a friendly retired professional with a history of work in social care. I am now enjoying having time for myself. I am busy and active. I like to be out and about, seeing friends, walking or going to a gallery. I also enjoy reading, watching TV and practising new recipes in the kitchen. I am used to sharing our comfortable home; recent tenants have stayed 5 and 3 years respectively. Recently my adult daughter has moved back home after her house share ended. She is planning to move out by the end of the year. She currently works at home one day per week and is office based otherwise.

The room has space for study or you may prefer to share the house facilities. The place particularly suits someone who wants to live independently ; it’s not a party house or community but you would feel part of a family home and a friendly local area.

I should mention that we have a cat and also a tortoise, recently out of hibernation and enjoying the sun. I do travel frequently so it would be great if you feel comfortable around animals and were able to feed them for me when I am away at times.
