It is a medium size double for one person, with new double bed, a wardrobe, chest, table etc. There is good central heating, shower, washing machine, dishwasher, and microwave. It has a good sized kitchen and a shed in the yard to store your bike.
The area is quiet, and very well-connected, just a few minutes walk from Honor Oak Park Station, the Overground into town and lots of buses too from Brockley Rise. The area is more and more popular with new restaurants, bars, cafes, delis and interesting shops. It’s also an easy walk to the centre of Forest Hill with the local swimming pool and fitness centre.
The landlord is a maker and part-time teacher too, interested in woodwork , ceramics, music, the environment...
The house will suit you if you like to house share, have a chat, share a glass of wine or a cuppa - not too quiet not too noisy.
No need to be a vegetarian, but the landlord is mostly vege and likes cooking. The bread machine and the coffee pot are always on the go.
