Description
We are looking for a new housemate from January 9th, as sadly our housemate is moving back to Australia.
About the house:
- A 7 minute walk from Fulham Broadway for the district line, 12 minutes from West Brompton (overground), 15 mins from Earl’s Court (Piccadilly line). It is on a quiet side street
- Huge double bedroom at £1200 not including bills. The house is split over 3 floors.
- Bills are around £150/per month which includes g&e, council tax, tv licence, internet, water, and a cleaner every other week for the communal areas.
- There are 2 bathrooms in the house so you would be sharing a bathroom with one other person but we are not strict on which you use
- There is another small room which we use for hanging our laundry
- There is a big living room with a dining room attached which we will often work from home in, there is also space to work from the kitchen
- There is a garden with a bbq and garden furniture
- There is also a large cellar for storing things if needed
- Tenancy starts 9th Jan and is currently 9 months but landlady to happy to extend, and due to renters rights bill coming in the new year all tenancies in the UK will highly likely move to rolling contracts in 2026.
- The landlady is great and will fix anything super quickly, she has fitted new windows, and has redone the garden and kitchen a year ago.
- Only looking for singles no couples sorry and no students.
- Preferably looking for a male to balance the house but open to all options
About the house
You’ll be living with Ben a 30 year old Surgeon, no night shifts, Emi - 31 years old working in procurement (and mum of the house), and Abi, 30 years old - our finance girly.
- We all work hybrid from home/in the office a couple days here and there
- We all do our own thing but hang out together in the evenings (mostly to watch the traitors/mafs) and complain about our days so we’d welcome someone else who loves shit TV and gossiping about our latest hinge fails.
- The areas great, plenty of bars and restaurants, parks, and the river nearby - bonus points if you come running with emi 🏃♂️ or go to Pilates with Abi or the gym with Ben.
- The house is great for hosting, we have the occasional party/bbq, but it’s also super cosy especially in the winter. You must not be a grinch because we deck the halls with boughs of holly.
What we’d like in a house mate:
- someone clean
- 27-35 professionals
- someone chill and sociable
- you can fill us in on the rest
