We have a bright and spacious double room becoming available from June 9th in our sociable four-bedroom flatshare. The flat is well-kept, fully furnished, and ideal for someone looking for a welcoming and comfortable home.

The Flat:

2 story maisonette located in a residential adjoining Fulham Palace Road and the River Thames. The ground floor consists of 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living room and bathroom. The top floor consists of 2 bedrooms and an additional bathroom.

Two modern bathrooms (so no waiting around!).
Fully equipped kitchen with plenty of storage
Comfortable sitting room – perfect for relaxing or socialising. Desk in the corner can serve as a work from home setup. Use of this room as a social space will take priority over working from home as the default arrangement.

Nearest tube stops Hammersmith, Fulham Broadway, Putney Bridge all ~ 20-30min walk
Bicycles welcome but not stored in communal spaces within the flat.

The property is managed by an estate agent with no direct communication with the landlord.

The Room:

Located on the top floor with a south facing window bringing in natural sunlight. The rental agreement states the bedrooms are unfurnished. So if you have your own furnishings you want to bring, the room will accommodate this. However, the current tenant is prepared to leave their existing standard bedroom furnishings including a double bed, wardrobe and large desk free of charge. In summary, the furnishing arrangement of the room upon move-in can be flexible to suit your needs.

Finance:

Rental Cost: £558.50 p/m
Deposit: 5 weeks rent - kept under TDS scheme.
Bills: Not included in the rental cost. Split equally between four tenants (utilities, Wi-Fi, TV licence, council tax) totalling ~ £80 per month per tenant. Basic communal household items such as cleaning products, basic kitchen amenities split between tenants using Splitwise.

The Flatmates:

Age range 26-31. Incoming tenant should preferably fall inside/close to this range.

The current group of four tenants have lived together for 2+ years having previously been strangers to one another/found through spare room. The general atmosphere is warmer than your standard spare room flatshare arrangement. We have, for example, run a Monday evening cook club we take turns to cook a communal meal for the flat and watch some TV together. This is obviously not compulsorily but shows how we've tried to foster a good atmosphere in the flat.

General occupancy of the flat is a healthy balance. 2 flatmates have hybrid working arrangements of ~1-2 days a week at home, the other is full time on site. Weekends are a mix of people having their own social lives, watching/playing sport, relaxing at home, having friends/partners round etc…
