Description
Looking for a lovely new flatmate to share my peaceful, cozy 2-bed flat in Zone 2 (Fulham/Hammersmith).
The flat has a big open-plan kitchen/living room with all the essentials (fridge-freezer, washing machine, cooker, cookware, etc.) and it’s in a great spot — about a 12-min walk to Barons Court, Hammersmith Tube, or West Brompton Overground.
We’re right by the Thames Path for riverside walks, Lillie Rec Park is across the road, and Bishops Park/Putney are nearby too. Shops are super close (Waitrose, Tesco, Sainsbury’s), plus Better Gym is literally across the road and Fulham Pools is a 10-min walk.
🛏 The room
Bright, quiet double room with a brand new bed and under-bed storage
Shared bathroom with a clean powerful shower and bath
💷 Rent & bills
£880 pcm + bills (usually around £160 a month for everything: council tax, gas/electric, water, WiFi)
Option: £800 pcm including bills if you only need the room Mon–Fri and head home at weekends. Happy to chat about part-week arrangements (2–3 days a week, etc.) and agree different pricing if you only want to stay 2-3 days a week.
Deposit: One month’s rent + first month upfront.
Rolling agreement with 1 month’s notice on either side.
Sorry, not suitable for couples.
🏠 About me & the flat
I’ve lived here for 8 years and it’s very much home. The building is friendly and quiet — I know the neighbours well and like to keep the vibe chilled and respectful.
I’m Irish, been in London 14 years, and work full-time as a therapist. I work mostly from home, so ideally I’m looking for someone who works out of the house most of the time. A WFH day now and then is totally fine …just not loads of daytime noise due to the nature of my work.
I’m tidy but not a neat freak, just like a clean, respectful space where we both do our bit. Socially, I’m friendly and happy to watch a film, share the odd meal or hang out, but I also appreciate downtime and personal space. My past flatmates have become good friends, which I’d love to continue.
It’s a no smoking/no vaping flat.
✅ Looking for…
A professional who works mostly out of the house
Someone who wants a calm, cozy, and friendly home
Sorry, not for couples
✨ The area
Fulham, Hammersmith, Putney, and Parsons Green are all nearby with loads of bars, restaurants, and shops. Central London is 30 mins away, Westfield White City is 10–15 mins by bus or bike, Heathrow is under 40 mins, and Charing Cross Hospital is close.
