Description
Looking for a new flatmate to share my peaceful & cozy 2-bedroom flat in Zone 2. The flat has a large open-plan kitchen and living room, all the essentials (big fridge-freezer, washing machine, cooker, cupboards, cookware, etc.), and is in a fantastic location just a 12-minute walk from Barons Court, Hammersmith tube, or West Brompton Overground.
You’ll be right next to the Thames Path for riverside walks, with Lillie Rec Park across the road, plus Bishops Park and Putney nearby. Shops are on your doorstep too - Waitrose, Tesco, and Sainsbury’s all close by. "Better" Gym is literally across the road from the flat and fulham pools is 10 min walk.
🛏️ The Room
Bright & quite double bedroom with a brand new bed and under-bed storage space
Please note: the previous tenant is taking their furniture, so you’ll need your own storage unit (wardrobe/chest of drawers) — this flat suits someone with fewer belongings as it doesn’t come with lots of built-in storage. I could take a suitcase in my room if needed.
Shared Clean Bathroom with strong shower and lovely bath.
Rent: £1100 pcm including bills (council tax, gas, electric, water, WiFi)
Option: £800 pcm including bills if you only need the room Monday–Friday ( 5days a week) and leave on weekends
Deposit: 1 month’s rent (£1100 (fulltime) or £800 (5days a week) depending on arrangement) plus first month’s rent up front to move in
Agreement is rolling — if you wish to leave, 1 month’s notice is required; if I need you to leave, I’ll also give 1 month’s notice
Sorry, not suitable for couples — this is for one person only
🏠 About the Flat & Me
This is very much a home for me as I've been here for the last 8 years with the same flat mate, so sorry guys, not a party flat. The building is quiet and chilled & I know all the neighbours well. So want to keep the respectful but relaxed vibe - Helps keep the space calm for both of us. I might host a very occasional dinner party which you can of course join or the odd guest to stay on the sofa bed in the living area if I have friends visit, but otherwise it’s a peaceful, welcoming space.
I’m an Irish woman, friendly and outgoing, and I’ve lived in London for 14 years. I work full-time as a therapist, remotely from home, and occasionally see clients in the living area — so the flat needs to stay quiet during the day for my work. For that reason, I’m looking for someone who works out of the home.
Cleanliness-wise: I’m not a neat freak, but I do like a tidy, respectful home where we both clean up after ourselves and share the deeper cleaning regularly.
Socially: I’d love a flatmate who’s happy to watch a film, odd dinner together or chat, make the place a home for both of us, but who also understands personal space and downtime. Past flatmates have been wonderful, considerate, respectful, and relaxed. I offer the same in return. I like to keep open line communication especially when sharing a space. I have managed to really have some wonderful flat mates who I still have a dear friends now even after they moved out, so of course would like this to continue.
this is a no smoking or vaping flat.
✅ What I’m Looking For
A professional with a job outside the home
Someone who wants a calm, cozy, and respectful living space/home, with not much "stuff" the flat doesn't accommodate it sadly.
No regular visitors (partners welcome 1–2 nights a week max)
Not for couples, sorry
✨ The Area
You’ll have hammersmith, Fulham, Putney, and Parsons Green on your doorstep with their brilliant bars and restaurants, plus central London is just 30 minutes away. The area is safe, residential, and very well connected. We have a cinema near, shopping wise Westfield in white city is 10-15 mins by bus or bike. Heathrow airport is less 40 mins away and charing cross hospital is super close.
📅 Availability
Viewings available during the day from the start of October.
Move-in date: 28th October.
