Double Room in Spacious Tooting House Share

We’re a friendly house of three professionals (and one corgi!) looking for someone to join our comfortable home in Furzedown, Tooting.

The room
- Large furnished double bedroom on the ground floor.
- Comes with a double bed, wardrobe, bedside table and extra storage - everything shown in the photos is included (apart from the TV stand).
- There are two bathrooms (one upstairs, one downstairs) - you’ll be the only person using the downstairs shower/bath - so no waiting in the morning!

Rent: £1,050 per month (excluding bills)
Bills: around £150 per month (Tooting has cheap council tax - Band D) - this also includes a fortnightly cleaner for all the communal areas.
Deposit: £1,010

Available from 23rd December though I think our current housemate would be willing to move out a few days earlier if it worked for both of you.

The house
- Spacious 4-bed home with an open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area.
- Modern and clean throughout, with multiple shared storage spaces.
- Street parking available with a permit.
- Big garden which we absolutely love - complete with outdoor furniture and BBQ - it was such an amazing space all summer!

The location
- Quiet, residential street in Furzedown, Tooting.
- 15-minute walk to Tooting Broadway Underground (Northern Line).
- 10-minute walk to Tooting Station for Thameslink services.
- Good bus links nearby.
- Local cafes in Furzedown, and a 10-minute walk to Tooting Common.

The housemates
You’ll be sharing with three friendly professionals who’ve lived here for two years:
Bella (33) - Nutritionist
Tom (34) - Works in finance
Pierce (33) - Project manager

Bella and Pierce work from home 3-4 days a week, and Tom works remotely full-time from his garden office. The house is spacious enough that it never feels crowded. You would of course be welcome to work from home too!

You’ll also be sharing the living space with Peaches the corgi - Peach belongs to Bella, she’s super friendly and gentle and stays in the kitchen/living area. Please only apply if you’re comfortable with dogs 🍑

You
We’re looking for someone friendly, tidy and considerate who likes dogs, who’ll help make the house feel like home. We’ve got a nice balance of hanging out and doing our own thing.

- Will need to pass all relevant checks with the lettings agent.
- No couples or students, sorry.
- No pets, Peaches has already taken that spot!
