Description

My spare room in a newly refurbished two-bed flat in Gipsy Hill, sharing with me, a friendly UX product designer. Available now.

The flat

A modern, west-facing flat in Crystal Palace (SE19), fully refurbished with a spacious living room that fills with light, especially in the late afternoon. The kitchen is open-plan and well-equipped, with an induction hob, two ovens, and a dishwasher, plus a washing machine and dryer, so laundry day is sorted. There's even a robot vacuum to keep on top of the cleaning. Parking is available, and you're right in the heart of Crystal Palace, moments from the Triangle.

The room

A single room with a bed frame that extends to a double, a built-in wardrobe, and an adjustable desk and chair, so you can move in without the hassle. Furnished and ready to go.

Who you'd be living with

You'd be sharing with me, Jason. I keep the place clean and tidy and I'm easy to get along with, happy to say hello over coffee or keep to myself, whatever suits you.

Who I'm looking for

Someone friendly and like-minded who'll treat the place as home. Whether you're sociable or more private, as long as you're considerate and tidy, you'll fit right in.

The location

Farquhar Road puts you moments from the heart of Crystal Palace, right between green space and city life.
The Triangle is a short stroll away, with one of South London's best high streets: great coffee, independent shops, and local favourites. Pubs include the Alma (try the fried cauliflower), the classic White Hart, and the lively Sparrowhawk, known for its food. For something sweet, there's Blowing Dandelions for artisan chocolate and cakes, and Brown & Green opposite for long, lazy brunches. Four Boroughs draws a loyal crowd for its coffee and cinnamon danishes.

On Church Road you'll find the art deco Everyman Cinema, Plaster for nails and beauty, a well-loved hot yoga studio, and Urban Cellar for wine and craft beer. Westow Street and Westow Hill add more restaurants, pubs, and a large Sainsbury's, while the Saturday Food Market on Haynes Lane is well worth a visit for artisan bread, cheese, and pastries.
Gipsy Hill station is a 6-7 minute walk, with direct trains to London Bridge (around 33-34 min door to door) and Victoria (around 33 min door to door).
