• Large double bedroom, unfurnished, with small private bathroom in a welcoming & queer household.

• Located 5 min walk from Gipsy Hill station. Overground trains go to London Bridge, London Victoria, Beckenham Junction and West Croydon. Good bus links too.

• Benefits/UC are accepted providing you don’t need to be on the contract or inform the agency in order to receive your benefits as you will be sending the rent payment directly to us.

• Communal areas: Massive living room, large kitchen with an island and a large private garden.

• Parks: Norwood Park and Crystal Palace Park are both nearby.

• House agreements: Due to our varied working hours, we like to have a quieter house from 9pm most nights.

• Area: Lovely vibe. Pubs. Places to eat. Fantastic corner shop. Crystal Palace Triangle is a 10 min walk away, lots of restaurants, charity shops, coffee shops, plant stores, furniture stores, supermarkets and takeaway spots.

We are queer professionals, with much of our lives centering around our crafts and passions. We keep a pretty chill home environment, as we find it important for staying healthy and happy. Our friend Luka visits around twice a month, other friends come round here and there, and we might host a ten-person gathering twice a year or so. We are not a party household.

• What we’re looking for: Someone 25+ with a similar lifestyle, ideally also a professional and queer. We’re down to develop a friendship with you, but we also don’t feel the need to force that! It’s more important to us that we have a general practice of respect and care.

• Access info:
- The flat is on the second and third floor of a house. One set of stairs to get into the flat and another set of stairs to access the room.
- No intercom, just a doorbell.
- We have a small, friendly, well-behaved dog.
- The building is positioned on a slanted hill in a somewhat hilly area.
- Garden is accessed through a side gate on the ground floor, leading down steep steps, there is a handrail.
- Downstairs neighbour has a large, scary-looking dog, but she is very sweet, and you may come to appreciate how she nobly alerts the building to strangers and deliveries.
