Cosy doubles, friendly house, Golders Green

One lovely room is now available in our spacious, friendly house. It’s a cosy room furnished with a double bed, wardrobe and drawers, available for £413pcm. Bills come to about £100 pcm at the moment.

There’s a huge living/dining room, fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and two fridges, freezer, two bathrooms & toilets, a conservatory and huge garden.

You'll be sharing with 4 other people in professions including nursing and software engineering from the UK, Spain and Korea — it's a friendly and social house; we spend time together from time to time, cooking and socialising but we're also pretty independent, and the common areas are clean and tidy.

We’d prefer a female (using the term inclusively) to maintain the gender balance in the house.

We pay the rent and bills on the 1st of each month. Bills come to about £120/month at the moment, including council tax, gas, electricity, water, broadband and bi-weekly cleaner, though we expect bills to increase in April.

The deposit is £450 payable in advance.

Location and transport: We are an 8-minute walk to Brent Cross tube station and 15 minutes to Golders Green (Northern Line, Zone 3) and served well by bus routes 83, 183, 210, 240, 13, and 113. In normal times the Night Tube runs throughout the night on Friday and Saturday nights, and the N5 night bus takes you from central London to home via Camden, all night every night. Coaches go directly from Golders Green to Stansted and Luton Airports, so it’s a great location if you want to fly away!

References: Our landlord will ask to see employment and previous landlord references; he asks that tenants can prove they have the right to abode and a stable income sufficient to pay the rent and bills (around £16k/year or more).
