I have a room available in my sunny, three bed, third floor flat (no lift). There is a separate bathroom, shared occasionally with guests. The third bedroom is spare for my visiting friends and family.
The flat has a large kitchen diner, large living room, two narrow balconies, two bathrooms and one very fluffy cat. My partner lives with me at weekends.
My home is in an Edwardian mansion block on the edge of Hampstead Heath. It has high ceilings, views across London, lovely neighbours and a strong community. Parliament HIill Lido is next door, and our estate has its own tennis court.
There are excellent transport links - Mildmay overground line, Northern Line tube and Thameslink trains, plus 88, 214 and C11 buses.
I have been a live-in landlord for 20 years. I enjoy the company of others but operate separately from my tenants. I am happy to share the kitchen and living room, and like to be sociable, but don't need a new best friend and am comfortable with my own company. My home is important to me
and whoever I share it with will respect that and respect the space.
My last two lodgers each came for a year and stayed for over five, the most recent one leaving due to a change in work location.
Bills are included (one third contribution)- rent and bills will be reviewed yearly. Council tax band E.
