Hey guys!
We have a double room going in our very lovely Greenwich flat! We are looking for someone who can start the contract from 01/04/2026.
VIEWING DATES: Monday 02/03 and Tuesday 03/03 from 7pm
About the flat...
We have a big kitchen with all the amenities, - washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher, which also has a balcony with a little breakfast seating area. There is a large hallway and living room with table/chairs and a sofa area. There is a shared bathroom with a massive bath with feet and shower, and a separate toilet room. The room going is bright with a big window, double bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe, and storage cupboard, and it's a decent size room. The rom currently has a different layout to the photo but it's the same space. We also have use of a large communal garden. The flat is non smoking.
About the area...
The flat is situated in-between Greenwich and Lewisham - it's a 10 minute walk to Greenwich station, and a 15 minute walk to Lewisham the other way, so amazing for transport. There are regular fast trains, which take about 10 minutes to London Bridge, and there is the DLR from both Lewisham and Greenwich stations.
We are a stones throw from beautiful Greenwich park, it's about a 5 minute walk away, and you can also walk to Blackheath village in 15 minutes too!
About the bills..
The rent is paid directly to the landlady on the 1st of each month, and the bills, including the broadband, we sort between ourselves. The energy/gas bill works on a fixed monthly rate with the aim to average out the fluctuating charges over the summer and winter months. The fixed rate often changes every six months depending on usage. It normally fluctuates between £120-£220. Council tax is around £50 per month, and all in, including water, wifi and tv licence, bills normally come to between £100-£200 per month.
We all sort out a couple of bills each and transfer the money to each other, and it works really well.
About the contract...
The contract is a 6 month rolling contract, meaning it is technically for six months but ideally we would like to find someone who would want to re-sign. It is a joint contract between all of us, but we each pay the rent to the landlady directly. If you need to leave in the middle of the contract, you can sign over to someone else at the start of the next month.
References will be required from the land lady before signing the contract.
About the flat mates...
Our flat mate Brad is moving in with his girlfriend so we are looking to replace him! There will be 3 of us staying, Lucy, Louis, and Brad. Lucy is self-employed so has a bit of a random schedule, Louis is a journalist and works from the office, and Noah is an actor so has a bit of a random schedule too . We are all busy, very much with our own lives but everyone is super friendly and we enjoy saying hi when we can! We're ultimately just looking for someone who would fit in well with the vibe. :)
