Hi,
We’re looking for a third flatmate too move in, with a flexible move in date, but the room is available currently (we'll just need to agree a date so the current roommate has time to remove his items). One months rent plus deposit (which is six weeks) will be due on this date and the new tenant will need to pass landlord checks and pay a admin fee to novate the contract before we can complete the move in.
The house is situated in a great part of Greenwich (river adjacent) accessible to both North Greenwich (Underground) station and Maze Hill (Overground). We’re also a five-ten minute walk from Ikea and about 15-20 mins walk from Charlton retail park that hosts an array of large supermarkets (Asda, Sainsburys, M&S, Aldi and Lidl). The beautiful Greenwich park and town is only a short ten minute walk away with great bus links and Greenwich has a plethora of great pubs and restaurants as well as a beautiful river path ( or running if you feel like it) about a 7 minute walk from the house.
The house itself is across three floors. There is a shared living room and kitchen on the ground floor which also has a toilet and shower (that’s the smaller of the two bathroom pictures). All the rooms are double and the room available is a double with a built in wardrobe though is otherwise unfurnished (current flatmates is open to selling the bed if someone needs it). Then on the top floor is the third and shared main bathroom. We also have a shared office space if you need to work from home. There is also a small but lovely garden space which is great for bbqs in the summer and has a shed if you need to store a bike or anything.
The current contract is for 12 months (though this will change next year) and will be signed collectively through our landlord who have been great to us over the last few years. It is £660 all in inc bills (Gas, Electric, Council Tax and Internet) though I should point out that only the rent is paid via the landloards and bills are sorted by us, so the 660 is the total amount you'll pay per month BUT this is likely to change slightly as the price of bills fluctuate over the next few months. But this will be an open discussion between us. and the annual rent increase next year.
Myself (Stephen) and Patrick are both professionals who are currently hybrid working between WFH and our respective offices. Outside of that we’re quite sociable people, going out with friends and spending time at our local.
