Description
Hi! My lovely flatmate Hollie is moving out as she’s bought her own place, so I'm looking for someone to replace her. The ideal person would be friendly, tidy and easygoing - someone who is going to make the flat continue to feel like the comfortable home it has for the past few years.
Rent is £1000, and with bills and council tax it comes to around £1150 all in. Water bill is included. The landlords are friendly and helpful and live nearby, no agency involved. Rent was increased in 2023, and is likely to stay at this number for the foreseeable.
Transport links 🚈
Amazing! 5 minutes walk from Cutty Sark DLR (re-opening this spring 🥳) and Greenwich Pier. 10 minutes walk from Greenwich Rail Station.
Location 🌳
5 minutes walk to Greenwich Park, 10 seconds to the river. Decent sized Waitrose around 200m away. 5 minutes from the heart of historical Greenwich with all its amenities - shops, restaurants, pubs, Picturehouse cinema etc.
The flat 🛋
Modern and bright, with a spacious dual-aspect living room that gets direct sunlight all day long. Stays warm in winter too - the flat has underfloor heating throughout but it's rarely needed. Never hear any noise from neighbours, and the street is quiet - you can even hear the river lapping on the shore at high tide 🌊
The building 🏡
Well-maintained communal areas, lifts and day concierge. Video door entry system, with bike storage in a secure underground carpark.
More about me 👨💻
I'm Jack, a 34 year old software developer from Bristol. I moved into this flat with a close friend a few years back and fell in love with the area so have been here ever since!
I work for a Canadian startup so am fully remote, however I usually go out to a shared workspace once or twice a week. When working from the flat I usually use the living room, and am more than happy to share that as a workspace. Ideally I’m looking for someone who has a similar hybrid work pattern with a few office days per week.
I'm not a big partier but am usually out meeting friends several times a week. Equally enjoy staying in and watching TV and films, playing games, or just hanging out in the living room chatting the evening away. I'm a very tidy person, and tend to clean as I go so the flat is never messy - ideally I’d like to live with someone who has similar standards.
I look forward to hearing from you!
