Description

Hi all,

I have a large double room with en-suite (with shower) available in 2 bedroom apartment on the Thames Path, in Greenwich for 6 months. My current flatmate is temporarily moving, but will be returning in March, which is why the room is only available for half a year.

The flat is on the 14th floor overlooking the London skyline and I can hands-down say I've never seen a better view in London. Both the room and the balcony face West, with the Thames to the right (but you really see everything from mid-South to mid-North (all landmark London buildings like the Shard, the Gherkin, 30 Fenchurch St, and even a little bit of St Paul's Cathedral in full view, with most of Canary Wharf to the right). On most days you can hear waves on the Thames. It's amazing.

We have a washer-dryer, a dishwasher, electric cooker, large fridge with freezer, microwave, kettle - all the stuff. We don't have AC, but we have an internal ventilation system. There is so much storage space in the hallway cupboard, it's basically a laundry room.

The room is carpeted, has an in-built wardrobe with internal lighting, a large window and is furnished with a double bed. It's part of a two-bedroom modern, stylish flat in the Paynes & Borthwick riverside development in Greenwich, London SE8. My current flatmate has kindly provided all videos and photos.

Paynes and Borthwick fancy description on their website goes like this: Sensitively restored listed buildings, a landmark residential tower, art galleries, private gardens, underground car parking, restaurant, 38,000 sq ft commercial and retail space.

The flat is about 10 minutes away from Deptford Station and various bus stops, as well as the 2 minutes away from the C4 cycleway (I cycle to London Bridge area every day - super convenient). There are various cycle storage space in the basement parking area for the whole development). Tesco, Sainsbury's and Londis shops are about 10 minutes away, walking distance. It's also 2 minutes away from The Ahoy Centre (for whoever is into sailing, rowing, powerboating and other water activities). The development has a cafe, a Pilates studio, a tattoo parlor and various art studios).

I'm a 33yo event manager working in medical training. Just finished my PhD in Japanese photography so the flat comes with an extensive photobook collection. I'm a smoker myself, but only smoke on the balcony (and if you are a smoker, you'd only be smoking on the balcony as well). I'm pescatarian, but I'm not particularly concerned about what you eat. I'm bisexual myself, so flat is obviously super LGBT friendly. While I wish the flat was pet-friendly, it is not, but I do have a pet plant called Bob.

Please, for the love of God, don't call me. Message or e-mail me. Yes, I'm one of those people.
