Description

I am a lawyer who mostly works from home, and with the departure of my previous lodger (who will be sadly missed), I am looking for another professional to take her place. The house has private off-road parking and is set in a pretty cul-de-sac tucked into a little woodland. The loudest noises come from the rustling of leaves, the twittering of parakeets, and the snaffling of foxes.

The house is split over three floors, with your spacious bedroom and en suite bathroom situated on your private top floor. Your bedroom comes with a luxurious super-king bed and a large flat-screen TV. My bedroom, bathroom and office are situated on the ground floor. Head downstairs to a well-presented open-plan front room and kitchen, which we'll share, along with access to a peaceful, secluded, tree-lined garden. A friendly family of foxes pops round most days to say hello.

Broadly speaking I work five days a week from 9 to 5 from home (except when in court), so the house is quiet during the day. Evenings and weekends I enjoy a mix of personal space and catching up over a burbon or a cup of tea.

I am looking for a chilled professional to share this lovely space. No smoking indoors, but otherwise there aren't any strict rules to follow and you can vape whereever you want. You're welcome to invite guests over, and I want you to feel like this is your home, too. I've just had a big clear-out, so there is plenty of room in the lounge to make this place your own.

I have an excellent long-term relationship with my landlord, whom I now consider a friend, and I am looking for someone who will be equally respectful of this home, which has become a little oasis of calm in an otherwise frantic London.

The house is a 3-minute stroll from Maze Hill which has direct trains to London Bridge (11 minutes), Farringdon (21 minutes) and King's Cross (26 minutes). Buses go from the bottom of Vanbrugh Hill directly to North Greenwich and the Jubilee Line.

The river is a 13 minute walk away, with a plethora of pubs along the way. If you fancy a walk in a stunning, expansive park, then Greenwich Park is only a 7 minute walk from the house.

I'm not kidding about the friendly foxes, so if you're not a fan of these cunning little canines, this place won't be for you!
