looking for a flatmate to move into the second bedroom in the flat i’m renting in Greenwich. i’ve been renting this flat with my flatmate for 4 years now and they’re now moving in with their partner.
flat is on the Greenwich High Road, 3mins from the Greenwich station (DLR/train). well insulated and on a quiet-ish street, lots of large windows and plenty of light. flat is duplex and the bedrooms are on separate floors, both ensuite. large open plan living room. fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. the landlord is pretty good with repairs etc too.
flat is on the top two (second and third) floors of the building. the bedroom on the second floor would be yours. the room has a built in wardrobe, two windows with blackout blinds and one radiator. the ensuite bathroom has a walk in shower, toilet and a sink; plenty of room for storage. the room comes unfurnished but you won’t really need much apart from a bed and maybe some storage. it’s a pretty large room so there’s space to set up a work desk in your room, if you wanted to.
bills are not included, so you’ll be splitting the broadband, power, water and council tax bills with me. council tax band D. Virgin Gig1 broadband. gas stove and heating. all the furniture in the common areas and the kitchen equipment belong to me as the flat came unfurnished.
i am a 36 year old marketing professional. i work from home most of the time and you could too if you wanted to. cleanliness, tidiness and respect are of utmost importance to me. i’m a friendly guy and a very good cook so if we get along i’d be happy to spend time together but i really like being in my own space or out. pets, smoking, big parties, loud music or noise are not allowed.
you would need to sign the lease agreement with me (splitting rent 50/50) and pay half of the deposit. so everything is pretty transparent. if we click and you need flexibility (up to max a month) with the move in date, we might be able to figure something out.
