A lovely welcoming couple, are seeking a Sharer for their home to offer a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation. The lady has mobility issues and her husband has Alzheimer’s

They would value the friendly reassurance and company of having someone around their home in the evenings and overnight. They would also like some general practical help around the home such as shopping, cooking some meals each week, light cleaning and tidying, laundry, carrying heavier items, and ad hoc practical help and errands as may be needed. Someone who could offer some company to the gentleman maybe reading out loud to him or drawing/painting together would be wonderful.

The accommodation on offer is double attic room with two single beds; there is a shared bathroom but 2.5 bathrooms in the home in total. There are carers to assist the gentleman morning and evening, there is a cleaner and a gardener.

The property is in an excellent location 5 mins walk from Greenwich Station (DLR and Thameslink)

The lady enjoys Pilates, playing bridge and is studying Hebrew. The gentleman likes someone reading out loud to him, painting and drawing and sings in a choir. They are regular church goers and members of their local church.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker who ideally shares some of the couples’ interests.
