Double room available in a 3 bed terraced house in Greenwich, London; me (Harriet) and my housemate Conor are looking for someone to replace our housemate who's moving out at the start at Feb.
Rent is £737, plus bills currently totalling approx £873 pcm all together (the property is council tax band D).
The house is a 2 minute walk from Maze Hill National Rail Station, a 15 minute bus ride to North Greenwich Underground and a 15 minute walk to Greenwich town centre. There is a Tesco Express 5 minute walk away, and we are a short walk from Greenwich Park.
I work at a university teaching on a film course, I am obviously very interested in film, but my interests also include photography, art and other crafts.
Conor works in social media for Lego, does stand-up comedy and plays football on the weekends.
We've lived in the property for a fair amount of time, I've lived here for about 8 years, and Conor for nearly 5.
We're looking for someone who's easy going, tidy and likes to be sociable.
We have a spacious living room which we have separated into a lounge area and space for WFH. A kitchen with appliances including electric oven and hob, combi oven microwave, fridges and freezer and a washer dryer.
There is a downstairs bathroom, with bath and shower, and a pleasant good sized garden.
The bedroom is unfurnished, however current flatmate is willing to sell her furniture pictured in the room (Wardrobe £15, small double bed with mattress £40, but can be removed if not required), all communal areas have existing furniture which we have sourced ourselves.
The room will be available from the February 1st, with an earlier or later move-in also possible.
Full tenant check needs to be carried out by the landlords agents: D. Watney LLP, before move in.
We'd prefer to do viewings in-person, but also happy to do zoom viewings, if that's not possible.
The photos of the room are up to date, but photos of the living room, kitchen and bathroom are older and will be updated soon.
