Description
Hi! I'm Allie, a broad minded digital marketer transitioning into being a body psychotherapist.
I'm looking for a caring, considerate, conscious and community-minded housemate to help make this lovely furnished Victorian terraced house truly feel like a home.
The available room is a bright and cosy furnished double bedroom with good storage, including a double hung wardrobe with overhead storage, two chest of drawers, and additional drawers under the bed.
The house itself is a charming two-bedroom Victorian terrace with a shared bathroom, living room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, and a lovely garden. It's a comfortable, well-maintained home with plenty of space to relax, work, socialise, or simply enjoy some quiet time.
📍 Location
The house is ideally located just a 5-minute walk from Greenwich Park and about a 10 minutes from Greenwich Station (DLR and Thameslink), making commuting to London Bridge, Cannon Street, Bank, King's Cross and Canary Wharf (and beyond) quick and easy.
One of the things I love most about this location is having all that Greenwich has to offer right on your doorstep. There are wonderful cafés, restaurants, pubs, independent shops, and of course Greenwich Market. Whether you're wandering through the park, meeting friends for coffee, picking up fresh ingredients from the local butcher or fishmonger in Royal Hill, or enjoying a summer BBQ in the garden, there is a real sense of community and village life here.
🌿 About the Home
More than anything, I'm hoping to create a home with my new housemate. You'll be sharing with just me, so it's a peaceful two-person household rather than a busy house share.
I value a calm, welcoming and supportive environment where people genuinely enjoy living together while also respecting each other's independence and personal space. Ideally, we'd share a meal or enjoy a chat over a cup of tea occasionally at the end of the day.
At the same time, I completely respect that everyone needs downtime, privacy and space to recharge. I'm looking for someone who appreciates that balance between connection and independence.
The dining room is a particularly versatile space with a fold-down table and works beautifully for working from home, creative projects, yoga, bodywork, shared meals, or a dinner party with friends.
✨ About Me
I'm warm, thoughtful and grounded, with a wide range of interests including personal growth, nutrition/cooking, travelling, reading, films, and spending time in nature.
Friends would probably describe me as kind, open-minded and easy to live with. I enjoy creating a peaceful and nurturing environment and really appreciate open communication, mutual respect and consideration.
💫 About You
I'm hoping to find someone who is kind, responsible, emotionally mature and reasonably tidy. Someone who values community, helps create a positive atmosphere in the home, and communicates openly and respectfully.
You don't need to share all of my interests, but I think you'd probably enjoy living here if you're someone who values wellbeing, meaningful conversation, creativity, personal growth, nature, or simply living consciously and thoughtfully.
Professionals and mature students are welcome.
💷 Practical Details
Rent is £1050 and I expect bills to be approximately £250-300 per month to include council tax, water, gas, electricity, internet and TV licence. Council Tax Band E
