Modern Double Room in Greenwich

Looking for a new flatmate to join me in this lovely modern flat in Greenwich. I have lived here with my current flat mate for nearly 3 years.

The flat itself is modern, furnished, and well-equipped. We are a 30 second walk from Deptford Bridge DLR station, and about a 10-minute walk from Greenwich Town Centre / National Rail, where you can get a super fast train to London Bridge (<10 mins). Lots of buses also run to areas close by. Our landlord is responsive and will fix things pretty quickly once we reach out.

The flat has a 24-hour concierge service, gym, and a swimming pool as part of the complex. The room is a large double with plenty of wardrobe storage, bookshelf space and room for a desk as pictured. Living space is an open plan kitchen and living room with TV. There’s plenty of space for a bike in the flat if you have one, and there is secure bike storage in the flat complex if needed.

The bedroom itself is the larger of the two - there is space in the bedroom for a WfH set up, and space at the kitchen table if needed.

About me: I’m a 30 year-old professional, working in the City of London, 5 days a week. I frequently spend weekends outside of the flat, travelling to see my partner and friends outside of the city - pretty much spend every other weekend out of the flat. When I’m in London during the week, I am sociable but also like my own space - happy to go out for drinks or have a chill night in! My partner also comes to visit roughly every other weekend as we live in different cities, and so happy to be clear about expectations around this.

I’m looking for someone I can get on and can enjoy living with. Ideally we’d have similar ideas and expectations of sharing a flat, but also willing to be flexible. Female preferred, and similar age, but not required!

The property is ready to view immediately, with the tenancy starting in August as that’s when my current flatmate moves out. Please contact me for viewing - I’m available evenings and weekends only currently.

We are council tax band C, and bills (including everything: home contents insurance, heating, electric, water, internet, council tax) will be approximately £210- 220 a month. A deposit will be required, roughly £1,000 - we’re still confirming the exact amount out with our landlord / letting agency.
