Description
Hi! :) I’m looking for a female flatmate to share a lovely 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom flat in Greenwich.
The letting agent is also advertising the room, but as I’ll be renewing my tenancy, I’d love to find someone who’s a great fit for the flat as well.
I’ve lived here for almost two years and have really enjoyed living here. The letting agent is friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with.
About the flat
* Large double bedroom
* Private bathroom (located just outside the bedroom and for your own use only)
* Spacious shared kitchen and living room
* Located on the 2nd floor
* The building isn’t a modern apartment development, but it’s well maintained and conveniently located above a Co-op, making grocery shopping really easy.
* Secure entry system and CCTV
Location
* 5-minute walk to Maze Hill Station
* Around 10 minutes to Cutty Sark DLR
* Around a 10-minute bus ride to North Greenwich Station
* Close to Greenwich Park and the River Thames
* Plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby
* Nearby supermarkets include Co-op, Iceland, Sainsbury’s and Tesco. Marks & Spencer and Waitrose are also within a 10–15 minute walk or a short bus ride.
Rent & Bills
Rent: £1,075 pcm (excluding bills)
Bills are shared equally between the three tenants.
Current monthly household bills are approximately:
* Water: £55
* Electricity: around £150 (depending on usage)
* Council Tax: £187
* WiFi: £36
About your future flatmates
I’ll be starting my PhD in Art & Design this September.
The other flatmate has already been confirmed. She’s a local young professional who will also be moving in on 1 August.
I’m clean, friendly and easy-going. I’m a bit of a night owl, but I’m always quiet and make sure I don’t disturb anyone. I’d love to live with someone who’s considerate, easy to get along with, and hopefully someone we can become friends with too.
Looking for
* Female preferred
* Single occupancy only
* Clean, considerate and respectful
* Previous house-share experience preferred
* I’d prefer someone who doesn’t regularly cook with very strong spices, as I’m quite sensitive to strong cooking smells.
* Friends or partners visiting occasionally are absolutely fine, but I’d prefer it not to be too frequent.
* No parties, please.
* Please note that the flat may not be ideal if you work from home full-time, as there can occasionally be construction noise during weekdays (8 am–4 pm).
Referencing
The letting agent will carry out referencing.
Applicants will need to demonstrate that they can afford the rent and have a satisfactory credit history, with no adverse credit or County Court Judgments (CCJs).
Interested?
If you’re interested, please send me a message telling me a little about yourself (for example, your work or studies, your lifestyle, and how long you’re hoping to stay).
I’d also appreciate it if your profile includes a clear photo, as it helps me get to know prospective flatmates before arranging a viewing.
