Description

Open-plan living in a home with spacious rooms. This house is not the typical 1930's semi. It is more of a modern house - an extension and kitchen-diner has increased the original footprint of the house. The south/south-west facing garden backs to allotments and allows privacy and enjoyment of the garden all year-round. .

Grove Park Rail Station is a 5 min walk away. There are direct transport links to London Bridge, Waterloo East, Charing Cross, Cannon Street and Lewisham (for Canary Wharf via DLR). The other direction takes you to Orpington and Bromley North. The night bus service (N36) secures your ride home if ever you need it. There's a 60foot front drive to put enough distance with the main road (a definite plus if you travel home late, ladies), and triple glazing to keep traffic noises out.

Nearby, there is a Green Chain walk and Grove Park conservation area. If you are into gardening, we can share my vege plot in the allotments (although I've not been very successful at it).

A Sainsbury's Local and a Tesco Express is available for any immediate/daily shop. The bigger supermarkets/shops are a bus ride away. There are 2 local gyms and a library within a 5min walk from the house. Nails, Hair, Beauty and Tanning, Chinese, Indian, Pizza, & of course, the Chicken/Fish + Chip shops are in the precinct.

Seeking one more professional housemate for either a single or double room. The plan is for only 3 occupants in this 4-5 bed house (unless energy bills escalate very significantly). My son may return for the occasional visit home from Uni, but be reassured, he will not be rushing back anytime soon... There are 2 shower/bathrooms (the 3rd acts as a laundry room for when we can't put the washing out). There is also parking availability in the front drive..

There is ample place in the kitchen/ communal area to eat your meals in peace if you so wish (meaning no dinners in the bedroom, please). If you are friendly, co-operative and can tidy up after yourself, do get in touch. Room available for the mid to longer term, a place to call ‘home’.
