Hey all! Me and my housemate, Joe, are looking for a third housemate to fill our spare room. £886 without bills.
Sadly our current housemate is leaving us after 5 years to move in with her boyfriend. So we are looking for someone to move in from August 7th.
It’s a double room and can fit a desk in if you needed! Nice, bright and homely place. Comes with the bed, drawers, and wardrobe!
The flat is a maisonette in a shared building with one other flat. So it’s super safe. We have a balcony - which is a great outdoor space and a separate lounge area. So there’s a good amount of space to relax in. And the house is lilac outside which is cute.
SUCH a good location, practically straight in the middle of hackney central and hackney downs. So close to shops, stations (5 minutes walk), buses and parks! Hackney marshes is super close and London fields is a short walk away for relaxing.
We've been here for quite some time now and really see this place as a home, we are good friends now and like to chill together, eat, and watch movies, but we have separate friendship circles (although usually an open invite) and like to be independent too. Sociable and chill overall. - We do our best to keep the house as clean as possible and would like someone who likes those things too.
This isn't really a party house, neither of us really go out clubbing or anything like that, but we love having friends over for celebrations or things like dinner parties, movie/game/craft nights, and anything similar. So if that's your vibe, then perfect!
We also have a beautiful indoor cat named Prince, he's super sociable and loves to chat and be around people. If you have any cat allergies, then I'm sorry this won't be the home for you!
We would both prefer to keep this a safe space and live with other Queer people / women! Sorry hetro cis-boys, but you're gonna have to look elsewhere!

I'm Prince's dad, George (He/Him). I've lived here the longest (roughly 7 years! maybe even 8? I've lost count). I'm 33, neurodivergent (ADHD) and Queer. I'm a Social Media/Community Manager for a gaming company! I love gaming, boardgames, D&D, any kind of crafting or anything creative in general!
