We have a double room available for long-term in our lovely 4 bedroom house in Lower Clapton/Homerton area (Hackney E5) area.

Our flatmate is moving back to Peru and the room is available to move in from the 18th of October.

The room has plenty of space, lots of lovely sunlight and has double glazed windows and laminate flooring. It’s located on the first floor and comes with some furniture.

We are an LGBTQIA+ friendly house of 3 females in their early 30's from America, UK and France. Animal lovers are essential as one tenant has a dog named Jessie (no new pets welcome), who is an adorable staffie who loves people! We are a chilled household who consider this our home, so we would prefer a long term tenant that fits in with our group. We like to socialise with each other and spend time together but also respect each other's privacy. We are not really a ‘party’ house and have a no drugs policy, also smoking is only allowed outside. We all have mixed diets in the house.

The house was fully refurbished in 2016. We share two bathrooms - one with a shower and one with a bathtub. We have a spacious kitchen/dining area with plenty of cupboard space for everyone, a washing machine, a tumble dryer and oven/cooker. There's plenty of storage in the house, and the heating and lighting is fantastic. We also have a cute garden area where we grow herbs and flowers. A new ‘A’ rated Vaillant eco-tec boiler was fitted in 2021.

The area is fairly quiet and residential, located just off Chatsworth Road which has a plenty of stores, a local market every Sunday and a great community feel. You are within walking distance to cultural hotspots such as Hackney Central, Hackney Wick, Dalston and Stoke Newington. There are plenty of green spaces around including, Hackney Marshes, Walthamstow Marshes, Millfields Park, Victoria Park and Clissold Park. And we are a stones throw from the River Lea Canal which has great cycle routes.

There are plenty of travel amenities nearby, a 12 minute walk to Homerton station for Overground services and plenty of bus routes in walking distance.

The private landlord is respectful, friendly and always happy to arrange to fix/update things as necessary in the house and is very communicative with us. No agency in between.

The room is available from 18th of October.
The rent is £795PCM (paid directly to the landlord).
Deposit is £795 which will be put in a deposit protection scheme.
Bills currently equate to £97.25PCM.
Council tax band: C
