I’m looking for someone friendly, tidy and easygoing to move into my home — a beautiful split-level, two-bedroom period conversion with its own entrance and a private garden.

This is a 2-month let only.

The flat’s in excellent condition and includes two double bedrooms, one bathroom, and a spacious open-plan kitchen/reception room with bi-fold doors opening onto a private garden with decking, fencing and a palm tree.

Location:

Based in a great spot in Hackney, surrounded by cafes, shops and restaurants. Hackney Downs Park is a 5-minute walk, London Fields around 10. Tesco is literally a minute away.

Transport is excellent: Hackney Downs station is 2 minutes, Hackney Central 8 minutes, with fast, direct links into the City and West End. Bus routes 30 and 50 stop at the end of the road (straight to Highbury & Islington). There’s also a Zipcar bay nearby and a Lime bike station on the street.

You’ll have access to a secure on-street cycle hangar for residents.

The Room:

You’d be renting the larger double room (pictured). It’s bright and spacious, easily fits a king-size bed, has plenty of storage, and large sash windows.

About Me:

I’m Darryl — an actor, writer/director and freelance TV development producer. I’m into film, cooking, classic cars and staying active (tennis, kickboxing, running).

I’m friendly, considerate and keep the place clean, and I’m looking for someone similar — relaxed, respectful, and easy to live with.

Rent & Details:

- £1,350 per month

- Bills are usually around £120 per month (gas, electric, water, internet, TV licence)

- Council tax is already covered

- Available from 9 February

- Deposit: one month’s rent
