Room in Hackney Downs July-August Short-Let

Hi, I’m subletting my room from 24 July-6 August . It’s in a lovely ground-floor garden flat in Hackney Downs. The rent for 14 days is £400 (bills included) plus £100 deposit.

The room: It is in the basement, however it’s the biggest room in the flat and has a window. The room used to be our landlord’s recording studio so it’s soundproof! It is fully furnished with a desk, two chairs, a walk-in wardrobe (!), a small but decent bookshelf and loads of storage space. P. S.: the room can be a bit humid at times, but the dehumidifier in the room should sort the problem out!

Communal area: Open-plan kitchen, perfect for dinner nights. We share one bathroom (toilet & shower). We have exclusive excess to our lovely garden!

The house is minutes away from Hackney Downs & Hackney Central, and about 15-mins walk to Dalston Junction. There are also a couple of bus stops offering various routes to Central. Hackney Downs Park is just around the corner, and London Fields & Victoria Park are within walking distance. Loads of shops in the area.

A bit about us: I am a PhD student in Comparative Literature at King’s College London. You will be staying with super lovely flatmates - one of them is an artist based in East London and the other one is a PhD student at the University of Bristol. We love books, music and art in this house. While we respect each other’s space, we also love cooking together and having small socials in the house :)
