Double room available in hackney

Sadly our flatmate Keith is leaving us at the end of October so we have a room available in our cosy house, located about a 5 minute walk away from the Chatsworth road, which has loads of nice shops, cafes, restaurants and even a great independent cinema (it does tickets for £6 on Monday nights). There’s also some great pubs in walking distance, such as the Adam & Eve which is a great spot. The area is really quiet and the room has views of the canal and Hackney Marshes just across from it, which is ideal for unwinding/running, etc, especially during the summer. There’s also some room for flexibility on the move in date, if needs be. The nearest station is Homerton overground, which is probably a 15 minute walk from the house, or the 242 bus leaves from just around the corner which also goes there. It's great for cyclists too with off road cycling in all directions to Stratford, the Olympic Park and Victoria Park, Islington, Tottenham, etc.

It’s a double room and is light and has ample room for a double bed, desk, wardrobe, all the usual. We have a large open plan kitchen/dining room leading into the garden, where we all cook and have the occasional meal together, although none of us would say we’re quite foodies.. There’s a big living room which is great for chilling in when you need to unwind and watch something and we have Netflix, Amazon prime etc. It also has a sofa bed which is ideal when you have a friend that needs to crash. There’s two bathrooms/shower rooms, one has a walk-in shower and the other a bath/shower. There’s three double bedrooms in total, all about the same size. There’s also some extra storage space which is super handy.

You’d be living with myself, Mattie (33), I work in finance for my sins, and Dee (36) who works in digital marketing. We’ve living together for over a year now and have a really chill vibe in the house and would love to find someone who’s similar. Whilst we both have our own lives, we do like a lil house trip to the pub from time to time, the odd Sunday roast, and every once in a while an attempt at Karaoke. We both work full-time so it’s not a party house but we do also like to have fun and enjoy ourselves in our spare time.

Ideally we’re looking for someone who’s similar - sorted, considerate, open-minded and tidy but also someone sociable who likes to have a chat, or up for watching a tv show/film from time to time. We all take turns in tidying the house, and also have a dishwasher which makes life that bit easier!

Bills tend to come to around £100/month for council tax, internet, gas/electricity, water etc.
