Room for Women / Girls in Hackney

The flat is located right next to Hackney Downs Park and 10 minutes from Hackney Central and Hackney Downs Stations. I have lived at the flat 6 years. The flat is cozy and well decorated with lots of trinkets candles and plants. The room is a good size and comes furnished with a double bed and desk.

My name is Yuli and I'm a creative producer, I'm a very chilled person and hoping to find a lovely flatmate to move in with myself and my flatmate Shelley (24, working as a pub manager).

If you're not into incense this probably won't be the place for you. We've had a few people moving in and out of the flat in the past 5 years and we've always ended up getting really close because of the cosy nature of the flat. We often get together for meals (I love cooking and try to make a dinner for everyone every once in a while) movie nights, a gym session, or a pint at the local pub.

The ideal person would be a professional. The area is very residential with a lot of families so this is definitely not a party flat out of respect to our neighbours. Personally, I love the area because of its strong sense of community and I hope the next people to move in value that too.

I have lived at the flat for 6 years and I treat it like a home, not just a place to sleep. The flat has always felt like home and I hope you feel that way too. We've all always been incredibly clean, I have OCD which means cleanliness affects my mental health but the flat is small and easy to keep clean. The next flatmates should treat it with the same amount of care and respect, we have always divided the cleaning and took turns in buying communal things such as butter, oil, toilet paper, and cleaning products.

There is no garden but we're 2 minutes from Hackney Downs and surrounded by green.

The flat is best suited for females / non-binary folk as it has always been occupied by women and because of its size its best for everyone's comfort to be all female. The community is very diverse and open and so is the flat!
