We're looking for a new flatmate to move into our fantastic 3-bed flat by the canal.
ABOUT THE BUILDING
The building is located within 5 minutes to Haggerston Overground station which connects you to the District, Hammersmith and City, and Elizabeth lines, which makes commuting a breeze. The building is close to several grocery stores, loads of bars/restaurants, and just a 30 second walk to Regent’s Canal. Areas such as London Fields, Columbia Road, and Shoreditch are only a stone’s throw away.
ABOUT THE FLAT
The flat is a furnished, 3-bed corner unit located on the 5th floor of a modern and secure building. Facing southwest, the living room is really bright and sunny throughout the day, making the space feel even more spacious than it already is. There's also a nicely sized balcony which is perfect for the summer days. One of the other bedrooms is ensuite so the main bathroom would be shared by just you and one other.
ABOUT YOUR ROOM
The room is furnished with a bed and a wardrobe and faces West. Rent is £1100 + bills (£100-150pcm on average). There is a security deposit of 5 weeks' rent (£1269.23). It also comes with a parking space as an added bonus!

We're looking for someone friendly, down to earth, clean, tidy, and respectful. Someone looking for a home, not just a house, who's happy to have chat and add to the nice atmosphere we've got going.
ABOUT THE CURRENT FLATMATES
You will be sharing the flat with myself, John, and my roommate, Lily, both young professionals. We met through spareroom a couple of years ago, so while we have our own things going on with active social lives outside of the flat, we also enjoy hanging out in the lounge and having a drink every now and then. We are both very respectful of each others' space and keep the flat very clean and tidy.
I'm a 29-year-old Canadian professional working in finance who works from home most of the week. I spend most of my weekends hanging out with friends and going to the theatre, museum, art galleries etc. I also make the best tiramisu you'll ever have. That's a promise.

I'm Lily, 31, I work at the London school of Architecture based in Dalston, plus do some marketing for a media startup on the side and paint/illustrate when I can find the time. I'm a sociable person who loves making the most of all the fun stuff to do in London. I enjoy evenings in the pub, go to a fair few gigs/a night out from time to time but equally happy spending an evening in cooking and watching a film. I’m pretty active (mostly when I can grab a free class pass trial), plus can’t get enough of park time in the summer, festivals and travel.
REQUIREMENTS
- The new flatmate will have to provide a holding deposit of £300 upon signing the contract (this will be deducted from the total security deposit of £1269.23, which will be paid the day before moving in)
- A reference from your most recent landlord is also required.
- The tenancy will start from 1st November, and the contract currently runs through end of March.
- After this the contract can be renewed if we want to stay!
- Sadly no pets and no couples!
We'll do our best to reply to everyone, and plan to hold viewings w/c 16 September in the evenings.
