Queer house share hackney

We’re looking for 2 new flatmates, with one room available from 4th October and one from 23rd October. Rent is £950 and bills, including a fortnightly cleaner, are approximately £120 on top of that.

There are four rooms in the house. The current housemates are Jazmin who is 31, queer, works in the charity sector and is into climbing, playing netball and anything outdoorsy. Loves a trip to the pub or to see theatre and comedy. Often out and about but always keen to hang out, chat, watch TV or plan a last min outing.

Jen (she/her) is 39, bi/pan, and a sex educator working in the HIV sector. Enjoys wild swimming, cycling, good food, visiting art galleries and tending to an ever growing collection of houseplants.

We both work from home and the office a few days per week. We are both left leaning and care about social issues and want to live with someone who shares similar values. We would prefer to live with queer women/nonbinary people or strong allies. We want the house to be a communal vibe and make an effort to socialise together and take an interest in each other's lives day to day. We're generally later night rather than earlier morning people and the house tends to be quieter in the morning, more likely to be around for a chat in the evening, and are looking for someone that would also suit!

The 2 rooms available are both medium sized, with wooden floors, big windows, some furniture and plenty of storage space both in the room and throughout the house. We also have 2 bathrooms one with a shower and the other has a bath. The house is over 3 stories, with a big kitchen and conservatory and slightly smaller living room, and a garden in the back.

We are currently holding the following dates for viewings as it's when Jen and I are available to meet you together. But can be flexible if needed for you to view the house with one of us and meet together at another time if we think you're the right fit.
