Double room in friendly Hackney flatshare

We are looking for someone to join our friendly three bed flat share in Hackney from 1st July. Having lived together happily for nearly three years, our flatmate is leaving for overseas work and travel.

The room is fully furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, bedside table and mirror. The flat itself is lovely, huge windows throughout, a cosy living room with a thriving plant collection and great natural light, especially in the afternoon golden hour.

We love the area - safe to walk home at night, loads of good cafes, 5 mins from Sainsbury’s and 15 mins from big tesco. It's a
10 min walk from two overground stations with direct links to Liverpool St station.

Rent is £816.67 pcm each, plus £130 bill contribution (including Band C council tax, water, gas & electricity, wifi and tv licence). The current contract is until the end of October, and we intend to renew again for another year after that. We would like someone who is able to commit to at least a year in the flat.

You would be sharing with Lexine and Zoe.

Lexine is 26, she is a huge foodie from Hong Kong who likes specialty coffee, Korean food, exploring Sunday markets, and taking nice pictures of everything. She is a freelance theatre director, actor, and occasional barista.

Zoe is 24 and spends free time making Sunday morning pancakes, waiting for new leaves in the flat plant collection, and trying to persuade everyone to do the Hackney Marshes parkrun. They freelance in community arts and writing, and work in a library.

We are looking for a flatmate (and new friend!) who will treat the flat as a home. Ideally you will be female/non-binary, aged 24-28 and up for rom-com nights and occasional sunday roasts.

We don’t have smoking or drugs in the flat. It goes without saying you need to be happy to contribute to cleaning and LGBTQ+ friendly!
