Description
(Full disclosure: technically a live in landlord, but i only own a small % of the flat and so still pay rent. Your tenancy relationship would be with someone else.... if that helps!)
Looking for a long-term flatmate who wants to make this a home.
The room: It's the principle room with built in wardrobes for your stuff. (It will be, by the time you move in... :P ) Furnished with a kingsized bed, bookshelves and a desk, facing the enclosed front garden.
The flat: it's a purpose build 2 bed flat from the 1920s but recently done up so it's pretty energy efficient and cosy in the winter.
Big garden out back, perfect for long summer days and BBQs. The front garden is a little more sparse, but enclosed so you can chill there too.
It's also right near the Hackney Marshes and Mabley Green, Victoria Park isn't far, so you'll have your fill of green spaces.
In terms of transport - busses at the end of the street, the nearest overground station is Homerton which is ~10mins walk away, and Hackney Wick overground 15mins walk.
You'll be living with a 37 y. o Australian working in climate change consulting. I tend to be in the office most days during the week, but will wfh the occasional Monday or Friday. I tend to be out a few evenings a week climbing or seeing friends.
Ideally I'm looking for someone who is similarly likely to be in the office some days, out and about from time to time, but who is happy to socialise and hang out in the kitchen, and have friends over. Not much a party-in-the-house kind of person, but will have friends over for a BBQ on occaision. Someone similar in age and interests would be great, too.
Bills are £130-150pcm - internet, council tax (band C i believe), electricity/gas, including a fortnightly cleaner for common areas.
And there's plenty of on street parking, but will need to get a residents permit if you've got a car.
