I recently signed my dream flat on a bright, leafy street in Lower Clapton / Stoke Newington area (209 Evering Road). Because the market is so crazy, I jumped at this 2-bed maisonette and am looking to fill the other room starting Sept 1st.

The flat was recently refurbished, so all the appliances are brand new, but still has the charm of a classic English home. The flat is two floors and you would get the top double bedroom with your own en-suite and exclusive access to a garden roof / patio. There's three bathrooms in the flat (which is pretty unheard of) and also lots of storage and space for a bike. The flat comes furnished but you can request any furniture to be removed.

It's situated on a quiet residential street but a 5-min walk to Clapton and Rector Road overground stations. It's also a 10-min walk to Hackney Downs Park and Stoke Newington area. There are tons of cute cafes, organics stores and shops nearby.

About me

I'm a 26-year-old Canadian who's been living in London for the past 3 years. I work in news research / consulting and go into the office typically 2-3 days a week. Starting in Sept I'll be doing a part-time master's at UCL for 2 years. Outside of work, I'm an avid yoga-goer and like to swim, paint, go to live music. I also love cooking (mostly veg) for friends. My ideal housing setup is one where we get on but respect and have our own space / lives.
